He was predeceased by: his parents, William Plummer and Ida Plummer (Newman); and his brothers, Bill Plummer and Burton Plummer. He is survived by: his wife Delores; his children, Clark Plummer (Josephine) of Fairfield, Becky Campbell (Dennis) of Burlington, Beth Walker (Lonn) of Mt and Pleasant; and his siblings, Bertha Schadt of Mt, Phyllis Parker of Salem, Charlotte Allen (Dick) of Marion, Marvin Plummer (Barb) of Kentucky, Halvor Plummer (Diana) of Burlington, John Van Osdol (Mary), Doris Green of Ohio and Dorothy Cole of West Burlington. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
