He is survived by: his spouse Ruthie Hedlund; his son Tom Paxton of Newton, IA; his grandchildren, Cody Paxton, Cassandra Dugan and Larissa Paxton; and his siblings, Ed Paxton, Edith Myers, Jeannette Brinning and Freddie Lisk. He is also survived by 2 great grandchildren.
