He was predeceased by: his parents, Craig Smith and Iris Smith (Kisling); and his brother Billy Smith. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Shipley; his daughter Angie Smith (Rod Brandau) of Overland Park, Kansas; his granddaughters, Addison and Lila Brandau; his brother Allen Smith (Shelly) of Jefferson City, Missouri; and his niece Susan Smith of Cantril.
