She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father Joe Ayala; her children, Genia Ollom, Sonia Chance (Tony), David Summers (Andrea) and Sue Cosper; her siblings, Terry Ayala-Dennis, Penny McNeil (Alan), Steve Grandors (Deb), Susy Wilson (Don), John Grandors (Jeana), Julia Grandors and Marty Grandors (Heidi); her mother Ellen Grandors (Grandors); her brother Benny Ayala; and her children, Lora Nelson, Victor Nelson and James Nelson. She was also cherished by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been set up by Joe's family in her honor. Memorials may be directed to her granddaughter Shana Neil to be donated at a future date.
