She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Strait and Lenna Bingaman Strait; and her siblings, Bob Strait and Enid Baity. She is survived by: her children, Connie Hedger (Larry) of Fairfield and Steven Lyon (Gerri) of West Point; her grandchildren, Matthew Hedger (Kristen) of Snoqualmie, WA, Kristine Hoy of Rocky River, OH, Troy Lyon (Melinda) of Keosauqua and Hillary Svenby (Brent) of Pella; and her great grandchildren, Macy Hedger, Mallory Lyon, Logan Hedger, Grace Lyon, Kegan Hoy, Genevieve Svenby, Khloe Hoy, Reid Svenby and Andin Lyon.

Memorials may be made to Evergreen Cemetery or the Fairfield Public Library.
