He was predeceased by: his wife Kay Lyon; his brother Thomas C. Lyon; his nephew Thomas J. Lyon; and his siblings-in-law, LuAnn Sheesley, Lexia Cedillo (Jerry) and James Sheesley.
He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Marlay (Bryan) and Cindy Taylor (Kris); his grandchildren, Kaylen, Kylee Marlay, Carson and Makenna Taylor; and his siblings-in-law, Judy Lyon, Elaine Burkamper (Gary), Becky Whitlock (Chuck), Carmen Baxter (Rick), Steve Wilkinson, Bill Wilkinson (Carol), John Wilkinson (Robin) and Drexel "Tucker" Wilkinson.
Memorial contributions in Howard's honor may be directed to the Eldon Depot Museum or to Hospice Compassus.
