He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Metcalf and Reva Metcalf of Knoxville, IA.. He is survived by: his brothers, Phillip (late Janet) of Leon, IA and Donald (Janet) of Des Moines, IA.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren., and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cranston Family Funeral Home - Fairfield (2805 W Burlington Ave, Fairfield, IA 52556). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Fell Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in Fred's honor may be directed to a veteran's organization of the donors choice.
