It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Earl Melvin Shepard of Fairfield, Iowa, born in New York, New York, who passed away on April 7, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Shepard and Sadye Shepard; his former wife Bonita Shepard; his sister Delores Vasquez; his daughter-in-law Maria Shepard; and his nephew Joseph Vasquez.
He is survived by: his wife Denise Shepard of Fairfield, IA; his children, Earl N. Shepard (Ruth) of Mesa, AZ, Michael Shepard of San Diego, CA, Richard Shepard (Chenoa) of San Diego, CA, Sarah McCoy-Shepard of Mt. Pleasant, IA, Ruth Shepard (David Midgen) of Los Angeles, CA and Joanne Shepard of Portland, OR; and his brother Renard (Lillian Shek). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
