He is survived by: his wife Karen of Fairfield; his children, Donna Jean Byers (William) of Fairfax, VA., Robert Lee Wingate (Kelley) of Mt. Pleasant, IA. and Timothy Arden Wingate (Kelly) of Ames, IA; and his siblings, Phil Wingate, Larry Wingate (Marilee) and Tony Wingate (Kayleen).
