She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Clemmet Dean and Winnona Evelyn Tolander Hester; her children, Cindy Veldhuizen (Brian) of Fairfield and Randy Leu of Burlington; her brothers, Terry Hester (Mary) of New London and Mike Hester (Robin) of Salisbury, Maryland; her grandchildren, Amanda Kraft (Mark), Brandin Lange (Samantha), Adam Veldhuizen (Ali), Melissa Patel (Kevin), Haley Leu and Leah Persinger; her great grandchildren, Dalton, Emma Lange, Knox Lange, Hannah and Cooper Kraft; and her grandson Andy Veldhuizen. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
