He was predeceased by: his parents, Esmond Wells and Evangie Wells of Stockport; and his siblings, Jim, Marvin, Don, Charlie, Henry, Andy, Larry Wells, Pauline Kaplan and Esther Schwerin.
He is survived by: his wife Connie; his daughter Angela McGlothlen (John); his grandchildren, Emily and Ethan; his daughter Rebecca Thompson; his grandchildren, Carter and Claire; his sisters-in-law, Carol Wells, Janice Wells and Karen Wells; his siblings, Bill Topping, Janet Calvin and Margaret Wilson (David); and also Mary Topping. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Fairfield or the Lord's Outreach Assisting Families (L.O.A.F) Program.
