With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Jean Johnson (Fairfield, Iowa), born in Milton, Iowa, who passed away on January 16, 2020 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Deal and Cecil Deal (McBratney); her spouse Gale "Swede" Johnson; and her siblings, Virginia Daniels, Shirley Hamersley, Charlene Hartman, Fred Deal and Dr. Ira "Max" Deal.
She is survived by: her daughter Donna Jean Henderson (Don) of Fairfield; her grandchildren, Lori Jean Anderson (Jeff) of Beaver Dam and Eric Henderson (Michelle) of Fairfield; and her great grandchildren, Tyler, Brittany Jean Anderson, Averi and Ella Henderson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Jefferson County Health Center Nursing Staff.
