She was predeceased by: her parents, John Boysel and Myrtle Caviness Boysel; her husband John Maurice McNiel; and her siblings, Paul Boysel, Carl Boysel, Henry Boysel, Maude Boysel, Thurley Hixson and Evelyn Bender.
She is survived by: her sons, Darrell McNiel (Jill) of Davenport, IA and Alan McNiel (Judy) of Batavia, IA; her grandchildren, Craig McNiel (Linda) and Kara Phelps; and her great grandchildren, Amelia, Olivia, Madison, Emma, Abby, Caleb and Noah.
Memorial contributions in Betty's honor may be directed to the Batavia United Methodist Church.
