He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernie Lunsford and Pearl Decker Lunsford; his wives, Margaret Shotten, Ruth Keller and Linda Hickenbottom; and his siblings, Laura, Arli and Anna.

He is survived by: his daughter Margie Sales; his stepsons, Alan Hickenbottom (Peggy) and Bob Hickenbottom (Liz); his grandchildren, Tammy Hamilton (Daryn), Tina Cardis and Steve Cardis; his stepgrandsons, Alex and Adam Hickenbottom; his great grandchildren, Elizabeth Seaman (Alex), Michael Hamilton and Josh Cardis; and his siblings, Sue Gough, Angie Hamburg, Dean Lunsford, Mattie Radabaugh and Marilee Gaskell. He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
