He is survived by: his children, Scott Carbaugh (Jo) of Solon and Kim McElree (John) of Atkins; his grandchildren, Joshua Northcutt (Carrie), Shannon Tobin (Preston), Jordan Carbaugh and Nate Carbaugh; his great grandchildren, Alexis and Kael Northcutt; and his sister Sara Schwab of Marshalltown. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
