Jeanne Therese Gibney Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeanne Therese Gibney of Fairfax, Iowa, who passed away on August 26, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Adam Schulte and Edith Schulte (Becker); her husband Bill Gibney; and her siblings, Mary Foth, Elaine Oujiri, Bernice Zenisek and Laurence Schulte.
She is survived by: her sons, Greg (Joyce) of Lincoln, NE, Bart (Toni) of Coralville and Jeff (Mary) of Cedar Rapids; her grandchildren, Matt (Michelle), Chad, Ryan (Colleen), Lindsey (Garrett), Blake and Grant; her great grandchild Audra; her siblings-in-law, Mike Gibney (Ronda) of Palo and J'Andrea Gibney of Maynard; and also Cheryl Gibney. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Jeanne's name to support the Fairfax Fire Department.
