She was predeceased by: her parents, George Light and Ethel Light; her husband Jack D Smith; her children, Larry Dean Smith and Cheryl Ann Light; her granddaughters, Marrisa Cline and Krystin Smith-Troncoso; her stepdaughter Kelly Leduc; and her siblings, Karen Light, Frank (Donna) and Walter Light.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jennifer Cline (Kevin) of Cedar Rapids and LeAnne Smith-Perry (Craig) of Urbana; her brother Dean Light (Darlene); her sister-in-law Claudia; her grandchildren, Heather, Dakota (Lisa), Jeremy (Autumn), Courtney (Levi), Kelsey (Earl), Jordan and Kara; her great grandchildren, Hayden, Marlayna, Jack, Easton, Adilynn, Alayna, Tiera, Trenton, Tayton, Teighlor, Tybias and Tempy; and her stepdaughter Kerrie Pettit.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cedar Memorial Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery (4200 1st Ave NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the Smith Family.
