She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Arthur and Nadine Marie Krug (Boldt); and her brothers-in-law, Allen, Kent and Martin Appleton.

She is survived by: her husband Jerry Appleton of Fairfax; her brother Jerry Krug (JoEllen) of Mt. Auburn; her niece Pamela Helfer (Wade); her nephew Brian Krug (Tina); her siblings-in-law, Penny Dodd (Butch) of LaPorte City, Deb Heffernan (Tom) of Jesup, Janet R. Appleton of Marion, Deb Weber of Dunkerton and Scott Appleton (Lisa) of LaPorte City; her nephew Matt Appleton (Emily); and her niece Dawn Willemsen (Greg). She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
