It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herbert A. Snell (Fairfax, Iowa), who passed away on April 7, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Herbert A. Snell to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Snell and Mary Snell (Vanous); and his siblings, Florence Seiberling, Mabel Young, Edna Risdale, Evelyn Brecht, Charles F., Lester, Edward, Elmer, Raymond and Albert.

He is survived by: his siblings, Merle "Jack" Snell of Las Vegas and Mary Lou Selzer (David) of Fairfax; and his close friends, Ray and Jan Zamistil. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Herb's name may be made to UnityPoint Hospice, Fairfax American Legion, or an organization of the donor's choice.
