He is survived by: his children, Kathryn Gansemer (Eugene) and Ray Brecht (Julia); his grandchildren, Adam, Luke, Rachel Gansemer and Yvonne Brecht; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Brecht, Dorothy Wade (Larry) and Lisa Gorsh. He is also survived by four nieces and five nephews.
