The memory of Betty L. Sedlacek of Fairfax, Iowa, who passed away on December 22, 2024 at the age of 95, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin Goodrow and Josephine Goodrow (Andrews); her husband Richard Wesley Sedlacek; her daughter Sue Ann Sedlacek; her grandsons, Shane Ehrle, Anthony Schumacher, Matthew Schumacher and Christopher Carl Ehrle; her sister Virginia Reulbach (Robert); and her brother-in-law Franklin Reagan.
She is survived by: her children, Frank Sedlacek (Kathy), Terry Sedlacek (Kathy), Shirley Ehrle (Stevan), Denise Schumacher and Brenda Hansen; and her sister Carol Reagan. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Brosh Chapel - Cedar Rapids (2121 Bowling St SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Josephs Catholic Church (995 5th Ave, Marion, IA 52302).
