It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wesley Richard Sauerbrei (Fairbank, Iowa), born in Readlyn, Iowa, who passed away on September 13, 2018, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Sauerbrei and Anna Sauerbrei (Rathe); his siblings, Violet Jacobson, Willard Sauerbrei and Warner Sauerbrei; and his great grandchild Nicholas Pierce.
He is survived by: his wife Delores Sauerbrei of Fairbank; his children, Cheryl Brandt (Keith) of Waverly, Teresa Duffy (Mike) of Fairbank, Gary Sauerbrei (Connie) of Readlyn, Larry Sauerbrei (Deb) of Readlyn and Jerry Sauerbrei (Cindy) of Readlyn; his siblings, Verlaine Hayes (Delbert) of Norwalk, Virginia Sickles of Readlyn, Veronica Buhr (Al) of Denver, Valitha Dornbusch of Mason City, Warren Sauerbrei of West Union, Wayne Sauerbrei of Sumner, Willis Sauerbrei (Doris) of Ames, Walter, Jr. Sauerbrei (Nanci) of Aitken and Woody Sauerbrei (Cheryl) of Waverly; and his sister-in-law Carolyn Sauerbrei of Springfield.
