He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dallas Bantz and JoAnne Bantz (Schwake); his former wife Debra Bailey; his children, Shawn McGarvey (Chad) of Fairbank, Sheila Heinze (Justin) of Fairbank, Sarah Bantz (Danny) of Evansdale and Wyatt Bantz of Fairbank; his grandchildren, Devon McGarvey, Morgan McGarvey, Kaylee Heinze, Dakota Heinze, Drake Heinze and JoAnne Bantz of Fairbank; and his siblings, Wayde Bantz (Teresa) of Dunkerton, Wes Bantz (Lori) of Fairbank, Dee Hessletine (Kevin) of Marion, Jalene Bantz (Ken) of Oelwein, Wendell and Jeanne. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
