Virginia Mae Schellhorn Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Mae Schellhorn (Fairbank, Iowa), born in Sumner, Iowa, who passed away on November 10, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Tonn and Gladys Tonn (Robertson); her husband Lorenz Herman Schellhorn; her son Bryan Ray Schellhorn; and her daughter-in-law Debra Schellhorn.

She is survived by: her children, Donald Schellhorn of Urbana, Cathy Gonnerman Sr. (Melvin) of Waverly and Marlys Boleyn (Roger) of Oelwein; her grandchildren, Melvin Gonnerman Jr. Philip Gonnerman, Michael Schellhorn, Mae Lee Nutter and Elizabeth Boleyn; her great grandchildren, Marshall Gonnerman, Madison Gonnerman, Gaston Gonnerman, Megan Gonnerman, Drew Schellhorn, Hudson Nutter, Ellie Schellhorn, Genessa Gonnerman, Payton Nutter, Willow Boleyn and Braxton Boleyn; and her nieces and nephews, Shirley Bany (Robert) of Red Rock, Larry Tonn (Lorraine) of Cedar Falls, Marjorie Scharnhorst of Oelwein, Ruby Johnson (Dick) of Sumner, Marilyn Anderson (Donald) of Britt and Robert Tonn (Lorraine) of Clinton.

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic there will be private family graveside services Interment: Grove Hill Cemetery, rural Readlyn, Iowa.
