Rich Wenger Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rich Wenger of Fairbank, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 4, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Duane Wenger and Marion Wenger (Buchholz); his brothers, Steve and Roger Wenger; his father-in-law Laverne Vandersee; and his brothers-in-law, Mike Gallagher and Vernon Vandersee.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Vandersee of Paul's Lutheran Church; his daughter Lisa Bro (Jeremy); his brothers, Kenny Wenger and Bob Wenger (Mavis); his mother-in-law Gwen Vandersee; and his siblings-in-law, Karolyn Wenger, Vivian Wenger, Barb Lowe (Dale), Elaine Gallagher and Paul Vandersee. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Woods Funeral Home, Funeral Service (400 Lakeside Dr, Fairbank, IA 50629). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Woods Funeral Home (400 Lakeside Dr, Fairbank, IA 50629).
