She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley Gardner and Beatrice Gardner (Gable); her husband Robert Van Daele; her siblings, Don Gardner, Marie Strand (Marvin) and Mary Nelson (Robert); and her parents-in-law, Art Van Daele (Angie), Julius Van Daele (Bettie), Helen Koile (Keith), Rene Van Daele and Alice Van Daele.
She is survived by: her son Jerry Van Daele (Lynn) of Fairbank; her grandsons, Dr. Doug Van Daele of Iowa City, Aaron Van Daele of Fairbank and Eric Van Daele of Fairbank; her great grandchildren, Ryan, Grace and Sophia Van Daele of Iowa City; and her sister-in-law Becky Van Daele of Independence. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Due to state and federal guidelines on gatherings regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing is required.
