With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lester J. Bantz (Fairbank, Iowa), born in Independence, Iowa, who passed away on September 25, 2019 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Daniel and Pearl Isabella Bantz (Anderson); and his siblings, Carroll Bantz, Keith Bantz, Dallas Bantz, Wendell Bantz, Doris Foley and Shirlee Roepke.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria; his children, Brenda Crumbaker (Nick) of Arlington, Angie Derhammer (Clark) of Swisher, Lanette Butters (Scott) of Fayette, Jodi Smith (Craig) of Atkins, Jennifer Kramer (Denis) of Hazleton, Jamie Bantz of Phoenix and Jay Bantz (Amber) of Fairbank; and his sister Bonnie Bantz of Arizona. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.
