She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew P. Michels and Mathilda M. Michels (Federspiel); her daughter Julie; her husband Edward C. Kleitsch; her sister Sister Mary Dianne Michels; and her son-in-law Randy Delagardelle.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Kleitsch (Jackie) of Brooklyn, IA, Monica Ortner (Steve) of Harmony, MN, Maria Delagardelle of Independence, Mark Kleitsch (Angie) of Fairbank and Marcia Sickles (Doug) of Cresco; her brother James Michels; and her granddaughter Jenifer Dahly (Ortner). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
