He was predeceased by: his parents, George Wachal and May Wachal (Helbig); his wife Helga Zoerner; his daughter Debra Wachal; and his brothers, Erwin Wachal, Marvin Wachal and Norman Wachal.
He is survived by: his children, Jean Turner (Jim) of Lexington, Sue Scarbrough (Terry) of Hudson, Steve Wachal (Linda) of Dunkerton and Robin Wachal of Cedar Falls; and his sister Berniece Bellach. He is also survived by 13 Grandchildren, 17 Great- grandchildren and one Great-Great grandchild.
Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic all attendees are required to wear face masks as well as maintaining social distance.
