We are sad to announce that on April 27, 2021 we had to say goodbye to James Leo Kaufman of Fairbank, Iowa, born in Brandon, Iowa. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred and Marie Kaufman (Steils); his former wife Doris (Waligorski); his brothers, Wally and Jerry Kaufman; his siblings-in-law, Jim Broell (Doc), Arnold Geske, Dale Waligorski, Milly Kaufman, Wanda Kaufman, Nancy Kaufman, Lucile Geske and Arlene Waligorski; and his stepdaughter Linda Brule.
He is survived by: his wife Glenda (Busey) of West Union; his children, James "Jimmy" of Des Moines and Jane Domeyer (Kurt) of Fairbank; his stepdaughters, Kim, Kris, Del Jean and Erika; his grandsons, Sean Wortman (Ashley Murphy) of Fairbank and David Wortman of Fairbank; his great grandchild Austin Wortman of Oelwein; and his siblings, Jack Kaufman, Tim Kaufman (Shar), Connie Broell, Susan Thompson and Mary Kay Kaufman (Gloria).
Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic face coverings will be required for those in attendance Military Rites: Fairbank American Legion Fortsch-Duffy Post 552, Interment; Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
