It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Steinbronn of Fairbank, Iowa, born in Fayette, Iowa, who passed away on July 30, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl William and Erna Marie Steinbronn (Sass); his parents-in-law, Edwin and Mary Hoehne (Broughton); his son-in-law Jeff Buehler; his siblings, Robert Steinbronn, Esther Canfield, Lucille Block, Raymond Steinbronn and Irene Reinking; and his siblings-in-law, Melvin Canfield, William Block, Keith Snodgrass, Arlin Hoehne, Mildred Steinbronn and Marjorie Steinbronn.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Steinbronn of Fairbank; his children, Karmen Bushkofsky (Lyle) of Westgate, Kelly Buehler (Doug Berg) of Cresco, Kurt Steinbronn (Amy) of Maynard and Kristi Steinbronn of Fairbank; his grandchildren, Nickolas Bushkofsky, Krista Heim (Nathan), Ashley Hughes (Marc), Erin Buehler, Isabelle Steinbronn, Samantha Steinbronn, Alex Steinbronn, Kollin Brownell and Jalyn Brownell; his stepgrandson Josh Bushkofsky (Charla); his great grandchildren, Crue Heim and Salem Hughes; his siblings, Wilbert Steinbronn of Fairbank, Pauline Snodgrass of Queen Creek and John Steinbronn (Cisco) of Oelwein; and his in-laws, Carole Steinbronn of Westgate, Beverly Dohse (Jim) of Decorah and Jerome Hoehne (Theresa) of Fennimore, Wisconsin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
