She is survived by: her husband Lauren; her children, Greg Brandt (Lynette) of Fairbank and Gina Niewoehner (Brad) of Hawkeye; her grandchildren, Gage Brandt, Aliya Brandt, Macy, Megan and Molly Niewoehner; her siblings, Mike Schares (Amanda), Andy Schares (Donna), Jeff Schares (Deb), Bill Schares, Pat Ehr (Jim) of Independence, JoAnn Weber (Bill), Dorothy Adamson (Dennis), Marge Grady (Rich) of Dunkerton, Marilyn Steggall of Fairbank, Joyce Rubalcaba of Stockton, CA and Jeanette Steffen (Kevin) of Waterloo; and her brothers-in-law, Don Brandt (Glenda) of Fairbank, Gary Brandt (Lori) of Prairie, Gene Brandt (Patty) of Dike, Keith Brandt (Cheryl) of Waverly, Terry Brandt (Mindy) of Marion, Betty Passick (Clay) of Oakdale, MN and Barb Wandling (Don) of Okoboji. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
