He is survived by: his wife Mary Deahl; his pet Barney; his sons, Joe Mikels (Michelea) of Centerville, Tony Mikels (Katey) of Council Bluffs and Nick Mikels (David) of Ballwin, Missouri; his stepdaughter Haley Brummett of Exline; his grandchildren, Emily Mikels, Alex Mikels, Dana Williams, Everly Mikels and Abby Owens; his aunts, Carletta Stocker of Moravia, Marvelee Davis of Sarasota and Louise Mikels of Unionville, MO; and his sister Karen Engle (Chester) of Centerville.
