He was predeceased by: his parents, Orval Haines and Lillian Flo Haines (Newland); his wife Dorothy Haines; his siblings, Walter, Lester Haines, Wilma Perkins and Deloris Musgrove; and his great grandchild Rowdee Valentine.
He is survived by: his children, Danny Haines (Barbara) of Moulton, David Haines (Marketta) of Exline and Dale Haines (Karen) of O'Fallon, Missouri; his grandchildren, Kelly Valentine (Robert), Erica Tunink, Melissa VanBlaricon (Bradley), Janelle Zenteno (Memo), Nicole Devall (Rob) and Adam Haines; and his parents-in-law, Larry Drake (Carol) of Exline and Connie Drake of Indianola, Iowa..
According to the Covid-19 guidelines established by the State of Iowa, masks will be required to enter the facility.
A memorial has been established to the Faith United Methodist Church of Centerville and may be mailed to Lange Funeral Home and Crematory, 1900 S. 18th St., Centerville, Iowa, 52544.
