We are sad to announce that on December 19, 2022, at the age of 72, Darlene Joy Gordy of Exline, Iowa, born in Promise City, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Laurel Brown and Geneva Brown; and her siblings, Allen, Ellis Brown, DeVee Baker, Bernita Simonson and Jan Hancox.
She is survived by: her husband Carroll Gordy of Exline; her son Jack Briggs (Melanie) of Albia; her grandsons, Zachary Briggs of Centerville and Jacob Briggs of Albia; and her sisters, Lois Ziegler and Elaine McGrann. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
