He is survived by: his wife Vicki Cowan (Moriarty) of Exline; his daughter Anna Cowan Garr; his son-in-law Bryan Garr of Exline, IA; his son Donald Cowan; his daughter-in-law Theresa Cowan of Sigourney, IA; his grandchildren, Miranda Cosgrove Lancial, Violet Conrad, Landon, Adrien and Anthony; his great grandchild Jacoby Steen; and his nephew Johnnie Cowan.
