It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda May Nelson (Exira, Iowa), who passed away on October 18, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nels Pedersen and Edna Pedersen (Gerhardt); her husband Gerald LaVerne Nelson; her son-in-law Ted Lannan; her brothers, Lloyd (Norma Jean Pedersen), Wayne (Betty Pedersen) and Lyle Pedersen; and her sisters-in-law, Evelyn (Leo Petersen) and Doris (Vernon Johnk).
She is survived by: her children, Keith (Cyndi Nelson) of Carroll, Iowa and Terri Lannan of Lincoln, Nebraska; her grandchild Jacquetta Lannan (Elliot Shmuckler); her great grandchildren, Alexander of Burlingame, Benjamin of Burlingame, Eric Lannan of Denver, Sara (Jon Glick) and Ryan (Ryam Nelson); and also, Anders of Seattle, Jaya of Breda, Iowa and Jayse of Breda, Iowa. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
