He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Wahlert and Mary Wahlert (Jayne); his son Jon Wahlert; his son-in-law Mike Wildin; his siblings, Rilma Kolbe and Richard (DonElda Wahlert); and his siblings-in-law, DonElda Wheeler and Leonard (Nadine Wheeler).
He is survived by: his son Joel (Maggie Wahlert) of Exira; his wife Carole Wahlert of Exira; his daughter Patricia Wildin of Greenfield, Iowa; and his brother-in-law Ramon Wheeler of Exira, Iowa. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
