He is survived by: his children, Karen (Mike Hays) of Tempe, Arizona, Kevin (Karla Sorensen) of Corning, Iowa and Kathy (David Sheldahl) of Arlington, Nebraska; his wife Dolores Sorensen of Exira, Iowa; his grandchildren, Christina (Steve Perry) of Phoenix, Arizona, Cassie Hays of Tempe, Arizona, Trent (Ashlee Sorensen) of Johnston, Iowa, Tori Sorensen of Kansas City, Missouri, Trevor (Hattie Sorensen) of Redfield, Iowa, Laura (Josh Gloeb) of Kennard, Nebraska and Katie (Drew Stanley) of Everly, Iowa; his siblings, Ruth (Alan Stevens) of Oakland, Iowa, Janet (David Brower) of Omaha, Nebraska and Roger (Sharon Sorensen) of Corning, Iowa; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Barton of Las Vegas, Nevada, Jean (Bob Irwin) of Bellevue, Nebraska and Jane Waltz of Independence, Missouri. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
