She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Vandevanter and Dessie Vandevanter (Pyle); her son Ron (Lorena Riesgaard); her husband Harley Riesgaard; her siblings, Dorothy (Perry Compton), Mildred (Marvin Downing), Zada (Fred Keslerher) and Earl (Marie Vandervanter); and her siblings-in-law, Clark Millhollin, Milo, Gladys Riesgaard, Merne (Lois Riesgaard) and Eldon (Agnes Riesgaard).
She is survived by: her sons, Gary (Becky Riesgaard) of Brayton, Iowa, Craig (Susan Riesgaard) of Exira, Iowa and Jerry (Colleen Riesgaard) of Exira, Iowa; her grandchild Chris (Gina Riesgaard) of Kent, Washington; her children, Ben (Traci Riesgaard) of Brayton, Iowa, Andrea Riesgaard of Exira, Iowa, Kelley Riesgaard of Waukee, Iowa, Dustin (Shaylee Riesgaard) of Exira, Iowa, Karla (Jim Casterton) of Bettendorf, Iowa, Brenda Langpaul, Wil (Krystal Riesgaard) of Wilmington and Jake (Allison Riesgaard) of Spokane, Washington; her great grandchildren, Bailey, Andi and Evan; her grandchildren, Sydney, Colin, Sam, Cooper, Harleigh, Della, Kate, Joe Langpaul, Colton, Myles, Lucas, Mason, Amelia, Magnus Riesgaard, Camille and Cody Riesgaard; her great great grandchild Jameson Gregory; her sister Julia Ann Millhollin; and her brother-in-law Darold (Pat Riesgaard). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
