She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry O. Brewer and Pearl Brewer (Hastings); her husband John Nelson; her son Duane Nelson; her brother Lyle (Jana Brewer); and her siblings-in-law, Edna (Arlo Heggen) and Charles Ferguson.
She is survived by: her children, Lavonne (Neil Schroeter) of Brayton, Kevin (Candis Nelson) of Brayton and Carol (Monti Miller) of Woodward, Iowa; her daughter-in-law Janet (Fred Klute) of Atlantic, Iowa; her grandchildren, Sarah Zach (Kelly) of Lake City, Eric (Mindy Nelson) of Walnut, Leslie (Matt Irwin) of Elkhorn, Trevor (Rebecca Schroeter) of Forest Grove, Marissa Miller of Clive, Molli (Caleb Davis) of Clive and Brady Miller of Earlham, Iowa; her stepgrandchildren, Wade Harris of Dallas Center and Natalie (Steve Ritter) of Atlantic; her great grandchildren, Meghan (Jacob Worman) of Mason City, Adrian Zach of Lake City, Lane Nelson of Walnut, Ty Nelson of Walnut and Luci Ann Irwin of Elkhorn, Nebraska; and her sister-in-law Olive Ferguson of Wall Lake, Iowa. She is also survived by step great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family requests for those in attendance to please wear a mask.
Memorials will be given to the Oakfield Cemetery Association.
