She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvic Maltais and Isabelle Maltais (Regnier); her husband Ron; her parents-in-law, Andrew and Florence Petersen; her siblings, Danny Maltais, Stella Maltais Godmaire, Marie Maltais McGowan, Betsy Maltais McIntyre, Roland Maltais, Louis Maltais, Rene Maltais, Yvonne Maltais Gillette and Sheila Maltais McDaniel; her brother-in-law Richard Petersen; and her son-in-law Mitch Trewet.

She is survived by: her children, Tami Trewet-Sloop (Kurt) of Atlantic, Teresa Christensen (Tom) of Audubon, Mark Petersen (Amy) of Libby, Montana, Pat Petersen (Mary) of Exira and Jennifer Rettele (LD) of Omaha; her grandchildren, Chance Trewet (Bre Wright) of Kansas City, Caroline Trewet of Brooklyn, Abby Landon (Gabe Grier) of Audubon, Spencer Landon (Mila) of Northglenn, Riley Christensen of Waverly, Maddie Christensen of Exira, Andrew Petersen (Liz) of Covington, Zander Petersen (Mimi White) of Portland, Derick Petersen (Bea) of Indianapolis, Kady Petersen of Exira and Zane Petersen of Exira; her pets, Douglas and Pete of Omaha; her great grandchildren, Ziza, Zuko, Isabelle Grace Landon, Willow, Rex and Rocky Petersen; her brother Roger Maltais; and her sister-in-law Janis Petersen of Des Moines. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and more friends.

Memorials may be made to the family for later designation to St. John's Cemetery west of Exira.
