With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harriet May Kirk of Exira, Iowa, born in Atlantic, Iowa, who passed away on October 12, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Norman L. Kirk; her daughter Pamela Nielsen; her grandson Chris Nielsen; her parents, Ralph Curry and Audrey Curry; and her siblings, Jack (Ferne Curry) and Cathryn (Charles Christensen).

She is survived by: her daughter Debbie (Thor Carlson) of Leander, Texas; her son-in-law Randy Nielsen (Debbie Davis) of Newell, Iowa; her grandchildren, Charles (Amber Vail) of Round Rock, Texas and Alicia (Reto Junker) of Moosseedorf, Switzerland; her great grandchild Emry Vail of Round Rock, Texas; her grandchildren, Jessica Junker of Moosseedorf, Switzerland, Josh Junker of Moosseedorf, Switzerland, Hanna (Logan Davis) of Fonda, Iowa, Rilyn Nielsen of Alta, Iowa and Rowyn Nielsen of Newell, Iowa; and her great great grandchildren, Ember Davis of Fonda, Iowa and Iris Davis of Fonda, Iowa. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
