He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Tibken and Minnie Tibken (Claussen); his wife Marilyn Tibken; his parents-in-law, Jesse and Harriet Taylor; his siblings, Amanda (Albert Schmidt), Walter (Lucille Tibken), Ruth (Paul Morgan), Bertha (Howard Lett) and Alice (Floyd Klemish); and his sister-in-law Caryl Taylor.
He is survived by: his children, Doug Tibken and Shelley (Mike Davis) of Exira, Iowa; and his brother-in-law Larry Taylor of Omaha, Nebraska. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
