She was predeceased by: her husband William D. Terpstra; her daughter-in-law Ilene Patty; her parents, Herbert Wahlert and Claudine Wahlert; and her siblings-in-law, Darrel Terpstra, Sam Stehle, Dolores Wilson and Nancy Gill.

She is survived by: her children, Daniel, Thomas Terpstra of Portland, Patsy Terpstra (Donald Jordan) of Lincoln, Michael Terpstra (Phuong Le) of Lincoln and Susan Henry of Lincoln, Nebraska; her siblings, Herbert Leroy Wahlert, Jr. of Exira, Iowa and Ida Kay Stehle of Longmont, Colorado; and her siblings-in-law, Avery Wilson of Newton, Iowa and Carolyn Terpstra of Altoona, Iowa. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
