She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Wolf and Ceclia Wolf (Thielen); her husband Carl A. Simonsen; her son Craig; her daughter-in-law Sue; her great grandchild Alex Henry Christensen; her siblings, Phylip, James, Charles, Dave Wolfe, Rosemary and Harriet; and her sisters-in-law, Ardis and Dorothy Wolf.
She is survived by: her daughter Julie Christensen (Paul) of Brayton; her grandsons, Scott Simonsen (Kristi) of Sheldon, IA, Justin Christensen (Jill) of Rock Rapids, IA and Jeremy Christensen (Amanda) of Des Moines, IA; her great grandchildren, Mikayla, Keely Simonsen, Korryn, Samuel, Henry and Sophia Christensen; her stepgrandsons, Landon and Carter Smith; and her sister-in-law Jane. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church (218 N Kilworth St, Exira, IA 50076). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery (218 N Kilworth St, Exira, IA 50076). A reception was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:45 PM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church (218 N Kilworth St, Exira, IA 50076).
Memorials can be made in her name, and the family will designate at a later date.
