He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ruth Heuck and Art Heuck; his wife Nancy Severtson; his children, Mike Heuck (Tammi) of Spencer, IA and Angie Heuck (Mark Hilliker) of Stevens Point, WI; his grandchildren, Austin Heuck (Hannah) of Everly, IA, Shelby Heuck of Sheldon, IA, McKenon Diekroeger of Milwaukee, WI and Kieran Diekroeger of Tampa, FL; his great grandchild Thea Heuck of Everly, IA; his sister Mary Ann Nielsen of Bozeman, MT; his nieces and nephews, Darrick Nielsen (Wendy), Chris Nielsen (Desi), Jayme DeVary (Dan), Aaron Severtson (Rose) and Amber Valentine (Jeremy); his parents-in-law, Mildred and Herb Minor; his brothers-in-law, Art Nielsen and Phillip Severtson; and his close friend Nipper.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the John C. Heuck Scholarship Fund through the Siouxland Community Foundation.
