He was predeceased by: his parents, Lois Hardin and Maurice Hardin of Summerset, IA.. He is survived by: his children, Melinda Hardin of Newton, IA, Michelle Rothfus (Jay) of Perry, IA and David Hardin of Everly, IA; and his siblings, Don Hardin, Dean Hardin, Carolyn Gilleland, Gary Hardin (Charlotte), Pat Gatrel and Jim Hardin (Mabel). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
