She was predeceased by: her parents, John C. Schmidt and Lena L. Frick; her husband Bud of Everly; her brother Arvin Schmidt; and her granddaughter Molly Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Lori Brown (Mark) of Sheldon and Todd Meyer (Tracy) of Everly; her grandchildren, Iesha Toft (Josh), Colton Meyer (Laura), Jane Pomranky (Luke), Kinsey Meyer, Joelle Brown (Jeffrey Ding) and Thomas Brown (Hailey); and her great grandchildren, Livon, Liam, Dorothy, Vera Toft, Miles, Violet and Jonathan Pomranky.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Warner Funeral Home- Everly (210 S Ocheyedan St, Everly, IA 51338). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hope Lutheran Church (206 N Washington St, Everly, IA 51338). A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at the Lone Tree Cemetery (1257 350th St, Everly, IA 51338).
