With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Verdale V. Marquardt Sr. of Evansdale, Iowa, born in Caledonia, Minnesota, who passed away on March 9, 2021 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Marquardt and Ethel Marquardt (Paris); and his brother Stanley Marquardt. He is survived by: his wife Berniece Marquardt of Evansdale; his children, Denise Woods (Mike) of Evansdale and Verdale Marquardt Jr. (Tammy) of Quincy, Illinois; his nephew Ben Reeves (Kelly) of Altoona; and his siblings, Verlyn Marquardt (Regina) of Waterloo, Marilyn Schmitt (Norman) of Waterloo, Marlys Dolph of Waterloo and Morris Dolph (Linda) of Waterloo. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
